There are three ladies walking around out here. Leave the palace and go east to get to the noble quarter. The little girl gives you a cucumber, a new food item. There are two women and a girl to speak to in here. Cross to the second floor on the right side of the palace for another maid. Talk to the woman walking around, then enter the Crimson Chamber and talk to the maid. Go to the left and up to the second floor. Two noble ladies are in the square outside the palace. There are two priestesses here in the temple, and one outside the main entrance. We get control of Zelos in Martel Temple, so we'll start here. If it doesn't work out for you, I have also made a note further in the walkthrough where you can use a nifty glitch to get the title without actually doing all the work. I have included a separate page in the walkthrough just for completing this task, because it is easier to do it all at once later on in the game. Zelos' Gigolo title is widely considered to be the most annoying, if not difficult, title to unlock. Note that this can only happen when his EX Skill Personal is equipped. So before we head out to our next objective, let's take care of everyone we can talk to here in Meltokio. This is like Colette' Dog Lover title on crack. With Zelos as your on-screen avatar, you have to speak with every single female character in the game. Zelos has an incredibly annoying title called Gigolo. Our next destination is Sybak, which is across the bridge to the northeast.

Well, worry no longer, as Zelos functions exactly the same. Return to Martel Temple to have Zelos join the party. Ascend to the highest floor to find the royal chambers.

Feel free to explore, but other than talking to people there's nothing here. Follow her into the palace, and she'll join the party. Talk to the priest up near the pulpit, then leave for a scene with Presea and Vharley. The Martel Temple is right beside the palace, to the west. Keep going to the palace to hear that the king is ill. Return to the central area and continue climbing the stairs. Buy one each of the Splint Mail, Elven Protector, Striped Ribbon, Claw Gauntlet, and Heavy Boots. Return to where you met Zelos and take the bridge to the east to find the armor shop Trupelos. You can explore the Coliseum building, but you can't enter right now. In the back corner of this building is a small cat figurine examine it to meet the Wonder Chef! Hey, how'd he get to Tethe'alla? Craft a Ray Thrust, Gale Staff, Druid Cloak, and the Lapis Bracelet. West from here, across the bridge, is the Coliseum, as well as the weapon shop Axios and the customization shop Prucius. Head up the main stairs for a scene with a dashing red-haired beau. The slums are to the east, but there's nothing there for you right now. This shop has a few new gels and bottles to buy, as listed above. Go west to find a building with the Katz and the item shop, Belteon. There's a man next to the large staircase that can tell you a bit about the city. You also get the Sheena's Letter key item. You're party shrinks a little more as you enter, but from a combat perspective you're not all that worse off. Sheena's about to leave the party, so take off any accessories you want to keep. Meltokio is the large city in the middle of the continent. There is a guy here who trades GRADE for items. It's right near a House of Guidance, which you should stop at. The long mode monument is to the east, but you have to go around the mountains to the north or south to access it. New enemies here, on the grass and on the beach.
